Sunbeam, in Palm Beach
In March, Sunbeam leaves the studio and enters the kind of bright, salt-air light it was made for.
I’m excited to share that you’ll be able to see Rio Skor’s sculpture Sunbeam live at Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary (PBM+C) — a concentrated few days when collectors, curators, and artists cross paths, and the conversation around objects becomes immediate again: scale, surface, shadow, weight.
Where + when
- Event: Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary (PBM+C)
- Dates: Thu, Mar 19, 2026 – Sun, Mar 22, 2026
- Venue: Palm Beach County Convention Center (West Palm Beach, Florida)
Official info:
Why see Sunbeam in person?
Photos are useful, but sculpture is ultimately a lived experience—your body negotiating distance and proportion, your eye catching micro-shifts in sheen as you move. Sunbeam was built to reward that motion: the work doesn’t just “sit” in a room; it activates the room.
Plan your visit
If you’ll be in Palm Beach in March, put PBM+C on your calendar and come find Sunbeam on the floor. I’ll share practical viewing details (including where to locate the piece) as the fair gets closer.
See you there
If you make the trip, reply to this email - I’d love to know what day you’re going, and I’ll do my best to connect.
