I'm thrilled to share some extraordinary news: my marble sculpture Carrara Soul has been selected for permanent preservation on the Moon through the Lunar Codex project.
The Details
The work will launch as part of CODEX POLARIS + LunARC + ISF archives via NASA's CLPS-TO-20A mission (Commercial Lunar Payload Service), heading to the Nobile Crater lunar region. The launch window opens no earlier than July 2026, with transport aboard SpaceX Falcon Heavy.
What This Means
The Lunar Codex is an unprecedented global archive preserving contemporary art, literature, music, poetry, and film beyond Earth. My sculpture will join thousands of creative voices from around the world in a permanent gallery on the Moon—preserved for billions of years on humanity's nearest celestial neighbor.
It's a profound honor to have Carrara Soul selected for this mission. The work was always meant to endure, and now it will do so in the most literal sense imaginable.
